This was a fun project. Our clients really knew what they wanted. Crisp and clean, and I think we were able to deliver that for them.
During construction we left, but edited, a number of existing mature white and Austrian pine to help give height along the site's borders. The trees gave us height but the bottoms of the trees had become shaded out. To solve this we selected shade tolerant flowering plants to “underplant” and layer for a beautiful effect. We sourced a handful of very unique and mature ornamental pine specimens for the site to give it some seasonal structure and large massing that gave the site a certain mature feel, from the day we laid the sod down.
We sourced an amazing custom galvanized fountain for outside of the primary bathroom window. The bathtub in the primary overlooks the garden and this fountain and I imagine it to be a world class spot to enjoy a bath with a glass of wine. Our fabricating team made custom house numbers that hang over the front door. Many details make this project a show stopping residence.
